The Economic Development sub-committee is chaired by Graeme Brown. Graeme is current President of Mystic Mountains Tourism Inc and is also the Chair of The Communications SubCommittee of The Murrindindi Regional Tourism Association (MRTA) and a member of the MRTA Board. The focus of this sub-committee is to provide a community forum and support as the community moves forward to develop the Marysville & Triangle Region. Our aims are to encourage as many members of the community to actively participate in the rebuilding process over the coming months. MATDG is not a decision making body but rather a conduit between the local communiteis at the grass root level with the various Government agencies, the corporate and broader communities. We believe the best esult will be achieved with a triple bottom line approach - that is, to achieve a good balance between sustainable economic environmental and social outcomes. These are underpinned by good corporate governance and strong and regular community consultation.
